Frequently Asked Questions

What is Pixel Puggles?

A daily image-guessing game where you identify objects from increasingly clearer pixelated images.

How do I play?

Type your guess in the input field (autocomplete helps prevent typos). Correct guesses reveal the full image and increase your streak. Wrong guesses reveal clearer versions.

How does the streak system work?

Your streak increases by 1 each day you solve the puzzle. Missing a day or failing resets it to 0. Your highest streak is always saved.

What are the difficulty levels?

Easy starts at pixel_64 (5 guesses), Normal starts at pixel_48 (6 guesses), and Hard starts at pixel_32 (7 guesses). Higher difficulty means starting with a more pixelated image.

Is my progress saved?

Yes! Progress is saved locally in your browser. No account required, but creating an account lets you sync progress across devices.

Can I play on multiple devices?

Without an account, each device has independent progress. With an account, your progress syncs across all devices.

Is there a Word Game mode?

Yes! Switch to the Word Game tab to play a hangman-style version of the same daily puzzle. You guess letters to reveal the answer while a flower loses its petals on wrong guesses.

Why only one puzzle per day?

Pixel Puggles is designed as a daily ritual, similar to other popular daily games. This creates anticipation and makes each puzzle more meaningful.
